My phone is dead
She hikes across town to get a new key
I finally call her
The new key doesn’t work
I come let her in
I realize I need a valid driver’s license to get this dumb permit I need
I vandalized my own license
I must drive 40 minutes to the DMV to pay $12 for a new license
I must drive 40 minutes back to get the damn permit
Roommate loses college ID and has to beg to get on city bus
I have to finish a paper on a book I haven’t read by five
I’m stuck at work til five
And all I want is some fuckin alcohol
